You are picking a choosing scriptures to fit your agenda. There are many examples in the Bible (old and new testament) of how people (who God had chosen) have veered of his path an will for their lives. Just because these things happen doesn't change God's commands and how he views our sins. Just because homosexuality is now normal and celebrated in our culture doesn't mean that God has changed his view on homosexuality.
